Save the Bearwood & Merley Green Belt - Mid Dorset and North Poole Liberal Democrats

Your local Lib Dem team, Vikki, David, Marcus and Richard, are leading the campaign to oppose plans for 1,200 homes to be built on Green Belt land between Bearwood and Merley as part of the proposed Canford Garden Village development.

The green belt is a much loved space between the communities, supports local wildlife and gives residents access to valuable open space. Once it is lost to development, it cannot be replaced.

Bearwood and Merley have already taken more than their fair share of new development. We must protect this vital green space for future generations.
