Winner announced in Vikki Slade MP’s “Love MDNP” competition
Vikki Slade MP has announced the winner of her constituency-wide Love MDNP photography competition, celebrating the places that make Mid Dorset and North Poole so special.
After receiving a wide range of fantastic entries from across the constituency — showcasing everything from countryside views to town centres and local landmarks — a public vote has crowned David as this year’s Love MDNP champion.
David’s stunning photograph of Wimborne Minster, captured in the heart of the constituency, won against two other strong shortlisted entries in the final public vote round.
The Love MDNP campaign invited residents to submit images of the places they love most, with Vikki selecting a shortlist before opening the final decision to a public vote. The competition aimed to celebrate the beauty, character and community spirit of Mid Dorset and North Poole.
Vikki Slade MP said:
“We had some truly wonderful photos submitted from right across Mid Dorset and North Poole. It was incredibly difficult to narrow it down to a shortlist because the quality and variety were so impressive.
“David’s photograph of Wimborne Minster really captured the heart of our constituency, and it’s clear from the public vote how much that landmark means to people.
