Vikki Slade MP takes Summer Village Tour back on the road
Mid Dorset and North Poole MP Vikki Slade will spend ten days meeting residents across the constituency this summer as she launches her second Summer Village Tour, bringing dedicated advice and listening sessions directly into local communities.
The tour, which takes place across July and August, will visit villages from Holt to Stoborough, giving residents the opportunity to speak with their MP about local concerns, community ideas and national issues.
Vikki Slade said that ensuring residents could meet their MP face-to-face remained a priority, with each village receiving dedicated time during the tour.
She said: “I believe MPs should be visible, accessible and rooted in the communities they serve. That's why I'm looking forward to taking my Summer Village Tour back on the road and spending dedicated time in each community, hearing directly from residents on the issues that they care about.
"The best part of this job is speaking with people about the issues that affect their daily lives, whether that's a local concern, or an idea for making the area even better.
“I hope as many people as possible will come along for a chat, and I look forward to seeing familiar faces and meeting new ones along the way.”
