Vikki Slade MP Announces Community Feedback Sessions On The King's Speech
Vikki Slade, MP for Mid Dorset & North Poole, is hosting a series of three community feedback sessions to hear directly from constituents about their views on the recent King’s Speech.
The sessions will provide an opportunity for residents to share their thoughts, raise concerns, and discuss the Government’s priorities as outlined in the Speech. The events form part of Vikki’s ongoing commitment to ensuring that local voices are heard in Parliament.
Speaking ahead of the sessions, Vikki Slade MP said:
“While most recent political coverage has focused on local election results and speculation about the Prime Minister’s future, the King’s Speech is likely to be more significant for people here in Mid Dorset and North Poole.
I want to hear directly from people across Mid Dorset and North Poole about this King’s Speech. Whether you run a business, work in public services or are concerned about your family’s future, your experiences matter”
She added:
“These sessions are a chance for people to share their views openly, whether that’s on the cost of living, public services, housing, or the environment. I want to make sure that the voices of Mid Dorset and North Poole are properly represented.”
The three feedback sessions will take place across the constituency, offering accessible opportunities for residents from different areas to attend and contribute.
Vikki Slade MP is encouraging anyone with an interest in local and national issues to come along, ask questions, and take part in the discussion.
“Listening to residents is at the heart of my role as your MP. Your input helps shape the work I do in Parliament and strengthens my ability to advocate for our area. I would encourage anyone who can to attend and have their say.”
