MP Vikki Slade has been resoundingly reselected for the Liberal Democrats at the next general election

Vikki Slade has represented Mid Dorset and North Poole since 2024.

The MP was elected with a majority of 1,352 in 2024, and in her first 26 months has asked over three times as many written questions as her predecessor did in 9 years (493–159); and is closing in fast on his spoken contributions (331–462). With her office team she has also cleared over 15,000 cases from local residents. 

Being re-selected means that Vikki Slade will stand again at the next general election, having secured the backing of local party members at a selection meeting on Saturday, September 26.
