Social Media Workshop

Want to know how to help build our presence on social media? Want to find out more about Facebook, Twitter and other social media platforms? Want to start a political Facebook page? Or improve your engagement with residents?

This session will aim to answer your questions about social media. Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, etc. are digital platforms that people are using to communicate, stay informed and share content. We have already seen social media play a huge role in the political sphere - from the Arab Spring to Occupy to Trump's infamous twitter rants. We have seen content on social media 'go viral', mobilise people, fund raise, start revolutions and make or muddy political careers. It has changed the local, national and international political landscape and we want MDNP Liberal Democrats to build our online voice.

This session is for open to everyone: supporters, activists, members and councillors so please do come along to find out more. Whether you have never heard of Snapchat or unapologetically tweet every 10 minutes, this session is for you!
