Lib Dems tackle Colehill's parking problems

Parish Councillors Linda and Ian Dickins are helping to fight to reduce the problem of parking outside Beaucroft School on Wimborne Road – Ian is a member of the Parish Council working party to review general parking problems.

Poor parking, for example, is causing issues which trashes the verges in Colehill.

Linda said: "We have also been working on clearing the holly from the paths behind Triangle Wood, in front of St Michael’s School and behind the War Memorial and have managed to get the County Council to clear the path in Lapwing Road, near Cannon Hill Woods.

"It was a pleasure also to be invited to the Parish Chairman's Reception to thank all the volunteers in Colehill. It included the Girl Guide leaders and Memorial Hall Committee and it was an honour to be invited. Unlike some organisations, our Parish Council is run on an apolitical basis and co-operation from all is very evident."
