We did it! The council have said that the service will be renamed the '18' again and that only the scarcely used early morning Saturday service will be cut.
We've had overwhelming support from residents on this who went door to door, rode the bus and shared the petition online to help collect signatures. We collected over 600!
This bus is vital for many residents across Broadstone, Corfe Mullen, Canford Heath and beyond. Local school children, elderly people and people who work in Bournemouth all rely on this bus and we're delighted that they will be able to continue using it.
We can only run local campaigns like this one with the support of generous residents like you.
Please consider donating today. With your donation, we can pay for petition sheets, promoted social media posts, leaflets and letters to make an impact and save bus services, challenge the Conservatives's cuts and represent your views on our local councils.
Thank you for your support,
Councillors Vikki Slade, Mike Brooke and Susan Jefferies

This H1 bus route includes Clarendon Road and West Way area of Broadstone, the lower Corfe Mullen area, Beacon Road and Corfe Lodge, and Canford Heath. It's used by local children to get to Parkstone Grammar and St Edwards School and provides a direct route to Bournemouth for workers. Without it, many people will be cut off.
We the undersigned, value the service provided by the H1 (18 bus) and request that it is retained:
