We, the undersigned, are seriously concerned about the future of the Beacon Hill Brickworks & Landfill site in Corfe Mullen and the application by SUEZ to amend the date when landfill operations and site restoration are to be completed. We are deeply worried about the effect on local residents and the impact on the SSSI heathland, bio diversity of the area and the request by SUEZ to vary the terms and length of the license.
We demand further public consultation on this application, including an open public meeting, and for the views of residents to be taken seriously by Dorset County Council in its decision making process, especially those living within the closest proximity to the site.
